WOC 2012 Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of WOC 2012 will take place at the Abu Dhabi Hall in ADNEC - the WOC 2012 congress venue.

Abu Dhabi Hall is ADNEC’s largest exhibition hall and the UAE’s largest single hall auditorium with a seating capacity of 6,000 spectators. The 7,920sqm Multi-Purpose Abu Dhabi Hall will be effectively transformed into an auditorium to host WOC 2012 delegates during the opening ceremony in a fully air conditioned environment.

The facility is one of the most flexible event spaces in the world with fully automated-retractable tiered seating system.

At the touch of a button the tiered seating system unfolds 23 rows of high specification seating finished with black fabric and ice-birch veneer.

Additional acoustic panels, moveable partitions, matching tiered mobile units and flat floor VVIP, VIP and multi-use seats complete the 6,000 seater venue.
