Abstract

• MICS & VISTHESIA for a High Level of Patients’ Satisfaction, ZEISS MICS Solution
• VISALIS S500 first experiences, BLUEMIXS 180 Injector for Preloaded MICS IOLs
• New Perspectives for Today’s Modern Cataract Surgery
• MICS and Toric IOLs focusing on optimum outcomes

Microincision Cataract Surgery (MICS) is a significant advance for improving outcomes in cataract surgery. Patients achieve faster recovery and better outcomes due to the smaller, astigmatically neutral incision. However, operating through a smaller incision can place increased demands on the phacoemulsification platform, and maintaining the benefits of a microincision and providing patients with excellent vision depends on the availability of high-quality IOLs that can be delivered through an unenlarged incision.

Leading cataract surgeons will give an overview of the latest technology available with the ZEISS MICS Platform and how they successfully met the demands of using a micro incision. The wide-range of preloaded MCS IOLs, including toric and multifocal IOLs, as well as the new VISALIS 500 and innovative OVDs will be discussed.
